CHANGING PROFILE OF FERTILITY BEHAVIOUR IN SEONI-BALAGHAT DISTRICT OF ( M.P.)
Abstract
The accelerating rate of population growth has been realized as an obstacle to the social and economic development of the country (Gandotra, 1966 :30). This increase is contributed by the fast decline in the death rate and the almost stationary, or even increased level of birth rate. Among the countries of the world holds a unique position for its socio-economic, cultural, linguistic and demographic diversities. Among all these diversities, demographic diversity ahs a special meaning. A number of studies have been carried out to understand the differences underlying these demographic variables fertility and mortality are the tow important demographic variables.
