Author Guidelines

Thank you for considering Edwin Group of Journals for the publication of your research. To ensure a smooth submission process and maintain the highest standards of quality, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing your manuscript.

1. Manuscript Preparation
1.1 General Formatting:

File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
Font: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font for the main text.
Spacing: Double-space all text, including references and figure captions.
Margins: Use 1-inch margins on all sides.
Page Numbers: Number all pages consecutively in the bottom right corner.
Headings: Use consistent heading levels (e.g., Heading 1, Heading 2) to organize the content. Ensure headings are clear and concise.
1.2 Title Page:

Title: The title should be concise, descriptive, and include relevant keywords.
Author Information: List the full names of all authors, along with their affiliations and email addresses.
Corresponding Author: Clearly indicate the corresponding author and provide their contact details.
Abstract: Include an abstract of no more than 250 words summarizing the key points of the manuscript.
Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords relevant to the manuscript’s content.
1.3 Main Text:

Introduction: Clearly state the purpose of the study, research questions, and the significance of the work.
Methods: Provide a detailed description of the methodology, including data collection and analysis procedures.
Results: Present the findings of the study with appropriate use of tables, figures, and statistical analysis.
Discussion: Interpret the results in the context of existing research, highlighting the study’s contributions and limitations.
Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest areas for future research.
2. Citation and Reference Style
Authors must follow the bibliographic and formatting standards outlined in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th edition.

2.1 In-Text Citations:

Single Author: (Author, Year) e.g., (Smith, 2020).
Two Authors: (Author & Author, Year) e.g., (Smith & Jones, 2020).
Three or More Authors: (Author et al., Year) e.g., (Smith et al., 2020).
2.2 Reference List:

References should be listed at the end of the manuscript in alphabetical order and formatted as follows:

Journal Article:

3. Supplementary Files
Authors are encouraged to upload supplementary files to enhance readers' engagement with their work. Appropriate supplementary materials include:

Data Sets: Raw data files, statistical analysis outputs, or other relevant data that support the findings of the research.
Research Instruments: Questionnaires, surveys, or other tools used in the study.
Figures and Tables: High-resolution images or additional tables that complement the main manuscript.
Multimedia Files: Audio or video files that provide additional context or examples related to the research.
4. Submission Process
Manuscript Submission: Submit your manuscript through our online submission system. Ensure that all required files, including the main manuscript, title page, and any supplementary materials, are included.
Cover Letter: Provide a cover letter briefly explaining the significance of the study, its originality, and its relevance to the journal’s scope. Also, confirm that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.
5. Ethical Considerations
Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be the original work of the authors and free from plagiarism. All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
Ethical Approval: If the study involves human or animal subjects, authors must provide evidence of ethical approval from an appropriate review board.
6. Review and Publication
Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will receive feedback from reviewers, and may be asked to make revisions before final acceptance.
Publication: Once accepted, manuscripts will be prepared for publication. Authors will receive proofs for approval before final publication.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
